hi All,
I'm now running 1 gig of hyperx 3000 in a 2500+ mobile overclocked to 2.2 gig. Whwn I boot ,screen tells me I'm running in dual channel mode.
I'm using a 200 fsb for the cpu, the ram is runing @ 166 fsb ( I forget the divider, I think it's 6/5 ).
My question is do the pro's think I would be better off running 1.5 gig ( I have win xp pro ) or the dual channel 1 gig
Please feel free to give any/all input

What's the typical use of your system?

Unless you're doing major video/picture editing that requires a large amount of memory, IMHO 1.5gb of RAM isn't needed yet. For gaming and general usage, 1gb is the sweet spot.
 
I agree, 1GB is enough for even video work. But I do thinkyou should try to get a 1/1 CPU/MEM thing going, that RAM is usually good for 200MHz FSB.
