AMNESIA PREORDER is now 50% off, only $10

Frictional Games, makers of Penumbra, is celebrating the humble indie charity donation pack with a big discount of their own. Their upcoming game, Amnesia: Dark Descent, is getting a massive 50% PREORDER discount right now. It's $10 marked down from the $20 it will be at release. Anyone who has played Penumbra knows that Frictional has some amazing potential to make an outstanding horror adventure/survival game. The trailer for Amnesia can be seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JEHPwAvrc_U&feature=player_embedded although the colors are very dark. Additionally, on the main page of Amnesia's site, they are laying it all out to bear and showing exactly how many preorders they have so far. If they reach 2,000 before the end of May they're going to add commentary to the game (nice bonus for those that like that stuff).

If you are a fan of horror/survival games, adventure games in a first person perspective, or Indie developers I can personally say that it will be next to difficult to spend $10 on any other game this year that will fit into those genres. I know the release date is still several months away, but if you have any interest these genres or this type of game AT ALL, I am very confident you will be floored with how great a game $10 got you.

Best of all, as I'm sure this will be a common question for many and will seal the deal for many others, the developers have stated on their forums that when released they will give out STEAM ACTIVATION CODES to anyone that wants their game tied to their steam account.

Preorder at their website here: http://www.amnesiagame.com/#buy

Man, I had to stop playing Penumbra a few times because it was twisting my soul.

Mental note: Get high and play Penumbra in the dark.

Previous titles were awesome [and you don't have to be drunk or stoned to appreciate them]. Don't let the price fool you - $10.00 is a good deal for this type of game [plus you can easily skip 2 lunches at McDonald's!] :)

True, the Penumbra series are remarkably designed - one of the finest computer game atmospheres I've seen.

One last bump, deal expires after tomorrow! Preorder Amnesia from Frictional Games for $10 (50% off) and get an optional steam activation code on release. It'll be a Windows/Linux/Mac release.

I am about half-way through the first Penumbra game, getting really slow and repetitive now, but started out good. I need to force myself to finish it because I heard the 2nd one is MUCH better.

Yeah they made some very noticeable improvements to Black Plague. Finish it off, you won't be disappointed.
