Ammo -> Win2k ___ Target -> C: drive, anything i should know before taking the plunge?

ok, i've decided to jump onto win2k. i'm about to get some more ram, and so i've heard that win2k can handle it the best. plus, i want stability. right now i have win98se, and some games are beginning to give me trouble, so i decided to jump on. well anyways, the only problem i may see is my vortex 2 sound card. i heard installing the windows sp2 thing will fix it. but how does one come across windows sp2? do i have to download it AFTER i install 2k, or can i download it now?

Easiest thing to do is just do the Windows update after you install Win2K and choose it from the list.

All the extra stuff there is included in SP2.

oh cool, thanks a lot. right now i just need to call up my cable provider, and ask em about what i should do about my cable after installing 2k.
