AMI RAID / NTFS in Linux?

I have a HDD on an AMI RAID controller in RAID 1 with a NTFS Partition I want to read from linux. Can I do it? If so, how?

I'm running Mandrake 8.1 if it matters.
 
I'm not positive, but I believe that Linux can't read the NTFS file format. I think that it's a windows proprietary format.
