Amex Wishlist

So i was browsing "my wishlist" for AMEX and they have the 2007 porsche cayman on Dec 4th for sale for $5000. Everyone jump on the deal! My question really is, how many would they have for sale and does the 5000 include taxes? Would you have to pay for registration first before you can resell it for a profit? =P

Don't bother, you won't get it. Only elite hackers win the top prize in the AMEX wishlist promo. That, or you're a very very luck SOB. You pay the tax for the actual value of the car, which is $49,400, not the price at which you won the car. There are less than 3 available.

You also pay income tax on $44,400. Depending on your income level, that could be $13,000

Yep, sometimes Amex helps you out with the taxes but I got screwed last year. I ended up paying around $1000 in taxes last year from my winnings alone.

You can find some hints on how to win things on some "fat" forums around the web. I have already won a few of the Wish Certificates this year.

25% off of any one trip to Home Depot and 25% off any one trip to Toys R' Us.

It says they have 3, I wonder if their site can handle it? I have an amex, do you need to register for this or what?

It's still a pretty good deal, although I'm not the biggest fan of the Coxster.

You have to register first.

You don't need to register. If you win one of the prizes you have 5 minutes to enter all of your credit card info.

If you fail to enter all of your info in the allotted time the prize is returned to the prize pool.
