AMEX declined PayPal payment - Why?

I attempted to make payment for a recent eBay purchase, and when I tried to send funds using my AMEX card the transaction was declined. I am nowhere near over limit, nor have I missed a payment. What gives?

it's more like amex declined the transfer.

Amex probably thought the transaction was suspicious or someting

Uh.. yeah.. give Amex a call.. they will tell you exactly why it was declined.

American Express has decided to decline PayPal credit card transactions that are funded with an American Express Corporate Card. As a result, any attempts to register or use an American Express Corporate Card will be denied.
