AMEX damage warranty AMEX is the BEST!

Godsend1

So I broke my brand new Harmony H880 last night. I was updating it and didn't notice that the cable was wrapped around my foot. Got up for whatever and the remote goes flying. It ripped the USB connector off the end of the remote.

I used an AMEX card for the purchase and they offer 90days of dumbass coverege. I filed a claim with them no problems. My question is: Is this a difficult process or what. Does anybody have any experience with this process?

Thanks

Fortunately, I've never had to file such a claim, so I don't know what to tell you. Perhap someone as "fill in the blank" can clue you in.

AMEX FTW!

I had $1000 worth of purchases stolen when my office was broken into. I am waiting for the claim to be approved. I have little doubt they will pay. Amex is a good compnay to do business with in my experience.

I started with the traditonal green, but switched to the delta skymiles card when I moved from California to Georgia last year. The remote was purchased on the Delta card.

Do you guys use Amex instead of Visa/Mastercard, etc.?

It depends on what you're buying and where.

Gas & supermarket - CitiBank for 5% rebate

Yes but Costco TrueEarnings by AMEX for eating out =] and for travel..... and for pretty much everything that will get me 1% on Citi because I wouldnt want to hit the $300 limit for Citi.
