why are they giving all those services to you? because they can and it justifies the annual fee.

why can they give all those services to you? they're clearing 4% on every purchase you make. $120k a year on say the 4 years it takes for them to invite you is right around half a million.

it makes sense for a business to take care of their best customers

the annual fee is probably hundreds of dollars a year.. i just got some pre approved corporate platinum card offer from somebody and it had all sorts of cool features like the concierge and travel planning and stuff then i saw the annual fee...$300..haha

I know my cards get maxed on hot deals all the time
I have a crappy 2000 dollar limit and I pay the balance off every month in full

I doubt there is a fee on it. Amex gets money from the merchants accepting the cards and if you are spending $150,000 plus a year on one card then they are making a lot in merchant fees because of you.
