These would be best answered by someone with Ameritech DSL, but anyone who know's is just as good:
a) with self-install (where the line is converted to a DSL line, and filters are installed on all jacks besides the one with the DSL modem) can I use Phoneline networking (HomePNA)?
b) obviously I would want to share the connection over the Network, likely with a HomePNA Broadband router, but I've heard you need 3rd party software to "login" to the DSL service every re-boot...could I still use NAT to share the connection? Maybe, if the connection was lost I would re-login with one computer, and then the whole network would have access to the connection through NAT? Anyone know, or have a hunch?
Thanks.
