The top 6 teams in the AFC could easily beat ANY of the teams in the NFC. Every team has question marks, but I still believe the Patriots are going all the way.

The NFC isn't a joke like it used to be. Two years ago, yes. Last year, it started getting better, and this year all of those good teams got even better. You'll see. Panthers are better - adding Keyshawn is huge, plus they got a new 1st round RB. Seahawks added Julian Peterson, who is straight nasty on defense. The Giants added Sinorce Moss on offense, a whole new secendary and Lavar Arringotn on defense. Redskins signed every possible free agent, like always. The Eagles are healthy again. The young Bucs are more experienced. Dallas added some little receiver named Terrell Owens, and also signed Vanderjagt(don't forget they lost 3 games on missed field goals last year). Cardinals added Matt Leinart and Edge. Saints added Drew Brees and Reggie Bush, plus McAllister is healthy again.

The NFC is much, much better than it used to be.

Hahahahahaaha. New England is America's team? Even the Pats fans can't believe that! LOL.

QFT. Saying the Patriots are "America's Team" is like saying the Yankees are, or even Lakers. You are jaded, my friend. You need to get out of Mass and realize that most everyone else hates the Patriots :).

Yea. The term "America's Team" goes to the team that is the most popular nationwide, and it sure as hell ain't the Patriots.

ps - I can't wait to rub it in your face when they lose this season, just like last year.

Reche is going to have a breakout year, Branch will be hungry, Brady's hungry after that loss in Denver. We have an awesome Tight End trio in Ben Watson, Daniel Graham, and Garrett Mills. Teams will be at a severe mismatch trying to defend against the TE packages. Rodney Harrison is back practicing in Training Camp, Matt Light's back, and we have the best Defensive Line in the game. Our Offensive Line is top 10 as well.

The Patriots are back folks.

Branch is hungry alright, for $$.

When's he going to start practicing?

Wow. You can't seriously believe that. Could the top 6 AFC teams beat any of the NFC teams? Sure, upsets happen all the time. Easily? Unlikely.

Are they going to allow Keyshawn to take a walker out on the field with him? The Panthers are a good team, but I wouldn't call them a great team. The seahawks may have gained Peterson, but they also lost Hutchinson (Does this mean Alexander comes back down to earth?) and Jurevicius. The Giants will be 1 and out in the playoffs (The Manning family should be used to this) and Tiki Barber is a year older-you can't expect him to have the same numbers as last year. The Redskins are not going to the Super Bowl with old man Brunell as QB. The Bucs are 50/50 at even making the playoffs, and I expect a full blown explosion between TO and Bledsoe somewhere around week 6. Matt Leinart still hasn't even signed with the Cards, and who can blame him with that Offensive Line? Kurt Warner better pray to the Gods that he survives this season. The Saints have no defense, though they do have a good offense.

And if they can stay healthy, you should throw the Falcons in there. With Hartwell back they should have a semblance of run defense back, Abraham and Kearney will provide a very formidable pass rush, and even though he's a rookie, Williams is an upgrade at corner.

The offense has question marks with an older Dunn, a depleted WR corps, and a still shaky OL, but if they can continue to be a top 10 rushing team, they should be competitive.

Pats might win their division, mostly because it?s a walk in the park with all of their opponents going through head coach AND QB changes. Miami might be the only real threat (mostly because their coach isn?t a rookie anymore and their QB is most proven) and I doubt they do much better than .500 this year. Then they also have the NFC North on their schedule - perennial jokes as of late. Yes, even Chicago.

Cincy, Indy, Pittsburgh, and Denver have a better chance of winning it all, and that?s just the AFC.

Um.....'scuze me, OP?? New England Patriots are America's team??

Shoot, I'm American, and I'd just as soon see them disbanded. I wouldn't cross the road to piss on Brady if he were on fire, and consider their "dynasty" to be more a lack of skill on every other team's part than any incredible athletic skill on the part of the Patsy's. They're no more America's team than any other team.......they're YOUR team. And while I'm happy that you're excited for them, puh-leeze do NOT ever make the mistake that America is in total agreement with you!

I'd be just as happy to watch them not make the playoffs this year, or go home crying like they did last year!!

Keep an eye on the Falcon's rookie RB, Jerious Norwood. This kid was a monster RB in the SEC playing for an extremely crappy Mississippi St team. He's a good fit for this offense (reminds me of Terrell Davis before he got injured).

The OL is the big question mark followed by WR since Finneran went down in camp. They also don't have a kicker yet.

Their defense and special teams is what killed them last year though. Couldn't stop anybody and had poor field position almost all the time.

Um, Keyshawn is only 33. He still has plenty left in him, and you're missing a key point - he's a #2 receiver now. He's always been a #1. Him and Steve Smith are a damn formidable tandem. Yea, losing hutchinson and juravicious hurts but adding peterson more than makes up for it. You have no reason to expect the Giants to be good other than your contempt for Mannings. Tiki might be a year older but he still had the 2nd most all-purpose yards in league history last year. Say whatever you want about Dallas - they will be nasty. Even IF T.O. is a problem, the addition of Vanderjagt alone could have taken them from 9-7 to 12-4 last year, and those two weren't the only additions. Plus, I think you are all idiots to think there will be a problem this year. He's getting his money, he is on a much shorter leash (Reid let him get away with murder), and Bledsoe is the best PASSER he has had since Steve Young, and how long ago was that?

I can't wait till February, when you still claim the Pats are winning the Superbowl, despite the fact that they aren't in it.

Well, assuming Bledsoe can stay upright. He was sacked 49 times last year! Are his feet nailed to the ground?!?! What a statute!!

I consider them the favorites to win it all.

Of course you do, that's why you're a fanboy. Realistic fans know when their team has a real shot.

A realistic fan is one who has no fun. What fun is going to a game thinking your team will lose
