America's Got Talent 2008 - Neil Boyd sings Nessun Dorma

So when he said he was going to sing opera, the whole Paul Potts thing came in my head, they tried to make this whole rags to riches story or a no professional training background story just like Paul. Neil is an insurance salesman (hmm mobile phone salesman anyone?). Anyways, he was pretty good but I was WOWED by Paul Potts, not this guy. All the commentary from the judges was like "Oh this is the first time I've seen this, who is Paul Potts?" Even Piers was like damn ur good considering what a dick he usually is.

This year's Britain's Got Talent is 1000 times better than America's Got Talent ever could be. Just got over too. Was a awesome season 2.

Watched it and thought it was a bad beginning. America's Got Talent seems to be so much more terrible for some reason.

That's sad. America's Got Talent reminds me of a worse version of Britain's Got talent. I'll stick to youtubing Britain's Got Talent.

Youtube sucks with quality and you never get full episodes of Britain's Got Talent on youtube ever. I don't want to watch a part of Britain's Got Talent. What is the point of that?

It immediately reminded me of the Potts thing as well, but Neil Boyd isn't nearly as good (I say that based on having heard just one song though). Still, he's pretty darn good.

The act I really liked was the "Nuttin' But Strings" guys -- that was excellent, I hope they go far in the competition.

That only thing I actually wanna watch are the acts that go through. I'm not that picky so I don't mind it.

Yeah but there are so many acts that were really good on Britain's Got Talent compared to America's Got Talent. Who did you want to win on Britain's Got Talent?

I would have to agree and wonder if he now is trying out because he saw Potts? The best original talent first came from Britain's Got Talent and no one can beat that. I am not British but I know talent when I see it.

To bad I can't understand Sweden Got Talent :( They have some great acts on there as well. Though Australia Got Talent is pretty good as well.
