General snap...wave?
U go girl :D

Seriously, you realize don't you that Romney has stated often that he would put DADT back in force, as president. And with a tea party house and senate, you can bet on exactly that happening.
You realize that ...... don't you?

Maybe not one of his "day one" promises. But certainlly day two.

So the General will have to pull a "Romney" and say she changed her mind she is not gay anymore?

HMMMM, maybe the Clinton era represents a longer eight year term than other two term Presidends, but still its just a matter partisanship.

But still there is no denying that Clinton left the USA far better off than when he started. As the American economy recovered, America had the first balanced budget in 60 years, and Clinton left the American nation saddled with no quagmires wars at the end of his term.

IMHO, I failed to see what Bill Clinton did that was so smart and visionary, but then again, and maybe far more important, Bill Clinton forgot to do anything really dumb. ( Other than maybe Monicsa Lenwinski. ) As for GWB&co, his administration made sure to be consistantly dumb on steroids, and wrecked the USA in the same eight year time period.

I believe it is called pulling a "Mitt" :p

She can just claim that one of those Evangelical "Cure" centers fixed her. What are they going to do claim it does not work? :D

No, Clinton stole from Social Security to "balance the budget". His "balanced budget". Also, the national debt went up EVERY YEAR he was in office. If you are not borrowing money, how does the debt go up? If the budget is balanced, why the need to borrow money?

Both the dems and the reps like to proclaim they balanced the budget...when it was actually never balanced.

The policy was "Don't ask, don't tell". You appear to have fallen for the liberal lie that they would waterboard you yearly to determine your sexual orientation.

Since they could not ask her sexual orientation there would be no reason for lying.

What what the policy BEFORE that? It was "no homosexuals allowed". As a General, she has been in the military a LONG time. That means she could have entered BEFORE the Clinton policy was put in place December 21, 1993. Just like I said in the post you quoted.

That's pure genius. She can go to Marcus Bachmans lesbian cure facility.

Though they better keep her away from Michelle.

I am surprised she is not being kicked out for lying previously. To be a general, you have to had been in the service for a long time. This means she was in when she had to lie about her sexuality.

Hmmm...maybe not. I cannot find when she entered service. If she entered before December 21, 1993, then she falsified documents to enter the military. If she entered after, then no wrongdoing has been done.

I like gay people if only because they are more likely to fight against and piss off the religious bigots.

Did the Repubs in those days already acknowledge that homosexuality was totally normal, genetic, and present from birth? Or did they still claim at that time that it was 'a choice'? If the second she can just claim she had not yet 'chosen' to be gay. In which case the religious right can chose between accepting her as a general or saying that their god created all those gay people and therefor either meant for them to exist or f**ked up and is clearly not perfect.
