"In the presidential campaign, the fears of one group of citizens morphed into a powerful anger that Trump harnessed to propel himself to the White House. Now, another set of Americans — a significantly larger group — is feeling profoundly distressed. If their fears are borne out, their anger, too, will become a political force that could upend an election yet to come."

Rather amusing given you seem to be one distressed by what this election reveal your sort to be.

What will be interesting to watch is all those who voted for drumpf wake and realize they've been conned or duped. He gives zero fucks about anyone but himself, how that isn't blatantly obvious to everyone is beyond me.

Many things are beyond you, and it'll be hilarious watching you come to that realization over the next eight years :)

I've got to laugh at the slant of the article that states that Trump was elected out of fear. Trump was elected out of anger. Anger at an out of control government that was looking out for the political class instead of its constituents.

You mean he was elected out of stupidity then... I'm glad we found something where we agree.

I have no doubt that many things are beyond my comprehension, but that's the main difference, I know what's beyond my limits and strive to better myself to meet them. twatwaffles like yourself take no such self-ownership.
8 years huh? I truly hope to fvck not.

I know, isn't it fucking great? Best Christmas ever.

We should start keeping a running count of how many Trump inauguration threads you can come up with. I'm glad to see now that Or00r00 or whatever has gone that you've taken up the mantle of the prophet!

Remember when you were pretending to be a concerned Democrat? It took all of about 2 days to figure out that was a lie, haha.

The certitude of delusion really shines through in your posts. You can't even define how the govt is supposedly out of control, but it sounds good so you'll go with it. Kinda like 2/3 of Trump voters believing that unemployment went up over the last 8 years.

Don't worry, though, because your Hero is here to save the day. He & the Repubs are gonna drive you home- right to the short hairs. You don't have enough sense to realize what that twitchy feeling in your bunghole really means, do you?

I had to log in just to like this, because you've nailed it perfectly. Donnie hasn't even taken office yet, and he's already flip-flopping on most of his campaign promises. While much of his cult will never acknowledge this and will rationalize their betrayal, many Trump supporters are bright enough to recognize they've been conned, sooner or later. Their buyers' remorse will be epic, and will come a whole lot sooner than they admitted GeeDub was a train wreck.

I'm also amused that the OP is typically backwards. Yes, things are good now; we're still under the Obama administration. The dread is that Donnie will change things for the worse. Ironically, it's the Trumpsters who've spent the last eight years spreading gloom and doom, even as we've climbed out of Dub's hole and things have become much better in America -- objectively, factually better. They've built their own reality, and it's backwards.

That's inappropriately graphic and yet strangely erotic. Please don't stop.
