Americans kill allies as well as Iraqis....

Ive been following the news closely every day and cant help feel a little worried about the Americans and their "little mistakes", like yesterday when their patriot missile defence system shot down two British RAF tornados. And the British newsteam that were blasted by them while traveliing in a clearly marked convoy. Seems a little habit is forming, and I confess to finding it more than a little worrying.
Claim that mistakes can happen all you want, this sort of thing should NOT be happening! Bad enough for a family their son is killed during combat, but what do you say when they were killed by their own forces? I can only imagine...

I propose that this one line be the entire message the families of the fallen. Let DeathByAnts deliver it personally to each family.

The reporter was killed by British forces.

Read an article or two before you post.

Until your a U.S. soldier on the frontlines, you have no idea what they go through. I get rushed enough playing paintball! In a full blown war scenario, judgement is often thrown out of seemingly self defence.

What an incredibly intelligent and compassionate response... (cough)

Collateral Damage

Brits are fools in the first place to join in.

Now suffer with silence please and ssshhhhhhhhhh .. no word of freindly fire please.. enemy is watching.

Go do some research on friendly fire incidents in damn near every war in the last couple of centuries involving every army on the planet. You'll find that though this is highly regrettable and unfortunate, it is not uncommon.

The military spends tons of money just to prevent these kinds of incidents but they still occur. War is a very hectic and confusing time. We are fortunate that there has been only one incident of this so far.
