I enjoy the woodland. Hiking, ATVs, and I'd probably build a cabin, plus land value typically goes up, so I can enjoy something while the value appreciates. Same reason I collect art. I'm in the process of procuring farmland right now. Much easier to deal with farm leases than rental housing.
