i hope this is not a stupid question but im in the UK and want to set up a comp for the first time

i am still looking for parts though and some one suggested i get them from americs (maybe they think they will be cheaper)

the question i wanted to ask is that will these parts work in the UK considering the different power supplies in each country

The internals of a pc run on 12, 5, and 3.3 volt DC lines. The only difference is the computer power supply. Most power supplies are dual voltage, they have a switch which allows them to be set at 110 or 220 volts AC.

and normally you should be able to find online shops that will be cheaper than US shops because you have to take taxes into account (a big shipping such as computer items definetly gets added taxes)
