American Muscle vs Japanese Muscle

I like alot of the Pacific Muscle, espically the RX-7, but I'm definately going with American muscle on this choice. The Z06 is a better car than any of those pacific muscle cars.

How come they included the 3000GT but not the 300ZX?

Because the Skyline was Nissans supercar, not the 300ZX.

Notice how it is only one car for each of the major Japanese manufacturers?

Japanese Muscle cars??

lol

They do make good sedans and a few good SUVs.

But they have a long ways to go for muscle cars and trucks.

I voted for the Skyline & friends because personally I've owned a 3000GT and would love to own any of the other cars listed simply because you don't see them every day like the American muscle cars listed.

As for the American Muscle I don't really like the last gen Firebirds & Camaros... everybody and their brother had one. Wouldn't mind owning a Z06 or C6 Vette though.

The Skyline was never Nissan's supercar. The R390 was their supercar.

How come every major Japanese manufacturer is in there, but only Chevy from the Americans? The American pic needs a GT and a Viper.

The road-going R390 was just a limited-run model. They made VERY few.

The Skyline is Nissan's top road-going offering.

I just noticed that too, lol.

The GT and Viper are more Supercar / Exotic. Although the Viper may be arguable.

I would much rather have classic american muscle than the new stuff. Also, no Mustang GT?

As much as I hate GM cars I'd have to give the nod to the American muscle simply because of the Corvette. None of those Japanese cars are in the same league as the Z06 quite frankly. Not stock anyway.

The funny thing is that on a Z forum I go on, there are people from Japan on it. They tell me that in Japan, the Skyline isn't this rare car that's lusted after as it is in the USA. Over there it's so common that soccer moms drive them. Most aren't GTR's, either. Here's the kicker- over there the rare, lusted after vehicles are old school American muscle cars and Harley-Davidsons.

Yeah, and they get soiled panties out of vending machines too. Strange bunch 😀

If I had to choose one from that list, it's easy- the Z06. The Z06 doesn't get much credit because you see them often, but in reality they have world-class handling and power.

And how many of those were widely available? They only created it so it would qualify for the Le Mans GT1 Class, not as a mass produced car like every other one listed here. They probally built only 2 or 3.

I would consider the new Z06 to be in the supercar category rather than muscle.
