American motherboard manufacturers?

Are there any good American motherboard manufacturers ("good" defined by giving plenty of options in the BIOS, solid support, and up-to-date drivers)? I'm sick and tired of dealing with foreign (mostly Taiwan) companies that can't speak a lick of English. I have nothing against buying foreign products in general, but if you're going to sell to a certain country, you should at least make an effort to speak the language. Reading in my ASUS manual that "AMD Cool 'n Quiet leads cool good yes speeds" has almost made me pull my hair out.

Supermicro made boards in the US, not sure if they still do.

According to that, very few non-Taiwan companies make boards, and nearly all the ones AMD recommends for the Athlon 64 are Taiwanese (*sigh*). Ok, well, are there at least any that write their documention in reasonable English?

Download an Albatron owners' manual and see if they're more like what you're looking for . Personally, I have over 150 motherboard owners' manuals and I don't really have problems comprenending them

Abit has nice manuals. Easy to read with descriptive pictures and diagrams with accurate labeling. Laminated too. Maybe missing one or two prepositions every once in a great while. But surely no "good fan cools yes speed too",

This is still my classic example (from the Samsung 172x manual):

TFT LCD panel manufactured by using advanced semiconductor technology with precision of
99.999% above is used for this product. But the pixels of RED, GREEN, BLUE and WHITE color
seem to be bright sometimes or some of black pixels could be seen. This is not from bad quality
and you can use it without uneasiness.

What the hell? :) I mean, yeah, you can understand it after reading it a few times (beer helps), but this is really unacceptable in a manual for a $600 piece of equipment. I have a bunch of Sony products and they're not nearly as bad.

Intel. Tyan and Supermicro's boards are made in Taiwan. To my knowledge no one builds boards in America.
