I don't own a TV. Who got voted off on American Idol?
I think that if there was an "Anandtech Idol" competition, Matt Witheiler would win in a landslide. Yes, a lot of it would have to do with his enchanting Siren-like soprano singing voice, but that coupled with hie rugged good looks...no contest.

I am in much enjoyment of your posts. While they have brought be no closer to the mystery of the american idol television program, you have brought me much enjoyment. Yes, I have in the past inquired about Mr. Witheilers availability for bar mitzvahs. I still have some challah samples available if request is made.
In sum: Thank you cashman for bringing amusement to my eve. You are well more appreciated for your thread contributions then Mr. Angry, pulse8.

Here we go again.

If only Mr. Witheiler would write articles a little more often (although we are all very busy and it can make for writing articles difficult, not to mention Mr Witheiler's tremendous entertainment commitments), I'm sure he would win the Idol contest.

The genesis of the name BossakTown! Ah yes, an excellant question! Unfortunately, due to the contract recently signed with New Line Cinema, I am not allowed to discuss the details of that particular story before the major motion picture is released (Thanksgiving, 2002). As a teaser, however, let me tell you that the story of BossakTown involves these black squirrels that can only be found on the campus of Fordham university. As we follow their merry adventures, we learn about getting along with others, tolerance, and how the name BossakTown came about (kind of deceptive, it is actually a village). So, in a sense, while I was not able to answer your question, I was able to answer more universal questions about tolerance, and in particular, tolerance amongst squirrels on Long Island.
