btw, Constantine was pretty good when he sang with that Kenny guy.

Constantine has a decent amount of talent and WAY more stage presence than carrie.

I dont understand how so many people liked carrie.... Vonzel was better... sh!t I think just about any of the top 12 was better.... I hope Bo gets a good contract... but you know what? I doubt it.

Anybody remember the comment Simon made like 8 weeks ago after she sang some song where he predicted " you will sell more records then any past idol winner"...Yeah Right!!!

Kelly rocks here...She has 3 songs in the top 40 and the album is in like the top 3 billboard charts...Simon said that as a satb against all the past idol winners who are usually more then glad to got out of their 1 year contract. Some like Clay use lawyers....

This will be a Clay/Reuben all over again... The second place finisher is going to rock the winner...She can go linger in obscurity with the once again waning country music genre...Bo is going to take off in a rival of rock.

Actually if you look at it last years suck-arse Fantasia has been outdone by Diana Degarmo who has a much more lucrative Disney contract and sold more albums I believe...

Reubens POS album tanked faster then his try at dieting!!! HAHAHAHA


Kelly is truly about the only one that has ever had talent out of that show....Carrie winning is a true sign most americans glued to their TVs are idiots. She has been butchering songs the last 3 weeks and I thought she slaugtered Martina Mcbrides song last night. Randy most be tone deaf...
 
Yes its rigged. An article from a UK newspaper (I think? It was called The Independent) was posted last weekend saying that Carrie had won.

She was constantly praised all night.

Bo should have won, and Carrie should have been voted out before Vonzell.
 
bottom line... who's more of an idol ? The hot chick. That's the way it should be. They named the show American Idol. It has to have some pull, ALONG with talent (or even above it).

I don't know who wants to idolize Bo, or even Ruben. Clay I can see... Kelly and Fantasia I can see... and now Carrie I can easily see.

(Yes, I'm saying this show can very much be rigged when it comes to the final few - and who has the most appeal). Someone must've been sleeping when Ruben won though...
 
I agree...Lets change the name of it....It should be about talent, singing and the full package....

Fantasia was a Macy Gray knock-off and all the songs sound the same....

it was quite obvious that Simon has a hard on for some of the female singers.

He told on girl he wanted to come back has her microphone.

He told Jessica that the song she sang "The Boys are Back in Town" was an appropiate song for the outfit she was wearing. it revealed that she is a very well endowed lady.

And of course he heaps the praise on Carrie.


Why doesn't he just screw Paula and get it over with.

How in the hell can anyone think Vonzell was a better singer than Carrie? Carrie can sing throughout her whole vocal range.

Vonzell can only carry a tune when she's wailing. She constantly butchered songs that started out low.

As far as the show's winner....I'd say the right person won. Bo is a better performer, but not a better singer. American Idol is a singing competition.
Bo sang the old song Vehicle again tonight, and also last night. Both times, he was worse than the first time he sang it.
Plus, he sang wimpy, sappy songs for his other two last night. That wasn't his thing, and both were totally opposite from the songs he's been singing, for the most part.

I like both singers, and both will do well. Carrie may well sell more records than Kelly, who I'm sure must be the best seller of all the Idols.
She may have been better off losing, then signing a contract with a Nashville company, at least in the short run.
We'll have to let her Idol contract play out now, and wait until a real record company and producer get ahold of her to see what she can do.

I agree with some of it but as a country star she will not come anywhere close to outselling Kelly....If she goes pop she will be finished cause he really only sang country well....Both of them may have been too one dimensional anyways....Fantasia was and that is why she suxx...Reuben is and that is why he suxs....Clay had a bit more range and he could have done more but wants out of the life....

Carrie did performbeter last night cause I agree Bo blew the song choices...He needed to do more upbeat stuff....

Anybody who thought that carie rendition of Martina Mcbrde was good can join Randy in the tone deaf idiot club!!!
