I want to see that episode with that funny guy named Purple Roundy. he was hilarious! He kept making faces at the gladiator behind the tennis ball cannon, and instead of battling past gladiators in his way he simply jumped over them and continued on his way.

I remember when Rico Constantino ran roughshod over the whole program. It was pretty cool, and he was a minor hero for me for a while.

Rico apparently later joined something called The Power Team (iirc). They did a pep rally at our high school and tore phonebooks, blew up water bottles, that kind of thing. The message was to unleash our inner potential, basically.

He ended up as a professional wrestler for WWE for several years. Im not sure what he is doing now as he hasnt wrestled for them for probably 3 years or so.

Anyway, American Gladiators used to be one of my favorite shows. I would love to have it on DVD.
