Yeah, I always thought you used to get penalized for falling off obstacles but it doesn't seem like they do that anymore. Seems like on things like the hand bike it would be better just to fall, save the arm strength, and be a bit quicker.

No, it's not part of the charm. I was watching the "new" q-tip battle and it was just so bad, they hit so softly, whereas in the first one where they put the ball in the barrel, they were trying to hurt the other person, freakin ridiculous.
