the movie was great. i thoroughly enjoyed it except for the divorce scenes which i thought were just not fitting in with the movie.

The whole atmosphere of the movie and the way Denzel delivers is much like his other movies "Training Day", "Man on Fire" etc etc but with less inspirational speeches which is really the best part of his movie. Overall the story line was very good and i fully recommend this movie.

I did not like the ending, but it was inevitable. I definitely agree that you will find some...misplaced scenes in the movie. It was long enough...why add filler? But it was extremely entertaining and one of the better movies I've seen recently. In this movie, Denzel has the same charisma that carries Training Day.

I had a chance to get in at a free screening on campus, but too many people cut the line because they had a friend "save a spot" for them and no one running the screening cared about enforcing the concept of a line. My friend an I got to the very front of the line (3rd and 4th) when they finally shut the door because the theatre was full; though, the 2 in front of us had a little worse since all their friends went in and they were stopped at the door only to be shut out. I'll probably go see the movie eventually, either in theatres or when it comes to my school's doc-films (which has older movies during most of the week, but Fri/Sat nights has newer, not yet released to DVD movies or fairly recently released on DVD movies for only $5).
