I've seen this on Fatwallet for 2 days now and the credit certainly goes to the OP there since he is the employee who posted it, but I wanted to share with those on AT who do not frequent FW.

People on Fatwallet have reported that they didn't even need to pay tax. But I assume yes, you can just buy a 14.99 shirt.

My friend tried using it today and AE would not accept it.

Wow...I didn't even know we had one of these at the local mall...I browsed their site and didn't see much that looked like it was meant for me to wear.:roll: I guess I'll pass on the coupon....

I tried it and it rang up as invalid. Was about to put the sweater back ($30) but the cashier asked the lead-cashier-on-duty, and since the store was so crowded and busy, she just rang up the coupon as a temporary offer. I got the sweater for $15 +tax.

In other words, it WORKS if the cashier is really busy and has a lot of customers to deal with. DEFINITELY YMMV.

Yah.... I got a no go from the MOD. So don't try Alderwood Mall in Lynwood, WA... their managers know and will not accept. FYI there was 20+ in line when I was there I still got denied.

No go, they claim it was a virus, my gf then later stated "they had no idea what they were saying" after she heard it was a virus issue.

I printed this coupon twice and took my daughter and son to AE on 12/28. Went through the line with my son and his clerk accepted the coupon. Went and stood with my daughter until she checked out with a different clerk. That clerk said it wasn't a valid AE coupon and they couldn't accept it. The clerks were standing next to each other and the transactions happened about 5 minutes apart. I didn't say anything when they denied the 2nd one because I didn't want the first clerk to get in trouble.

going later on in the morning in oak brook and lombard IL to try my luck. i told my gf about it and shes excited...although i did state that i read that more than half the people were getting denied.
