This is best described as "Trying too hard to be funny." It looks like marketing board picked out the popular elements from Family Guy and hyped them up, then tried to make a show out of just them.

I am SOOO glad Family Guy itself is coming back!

It could turn out good, I watched Family Guy from the beginning and wasn't that impressed at first. I think it could work in time. Its not a ripoff when its the same guy making it 😉

I was listening to Loveline with Adam Carola and Dr Drew and they had one of the voice actors/writers from Family Guy. Anyhow they already finished seven new episodes of Family Guy and they are under contract for a total of 35.
