Pretty cool. Unfortunately all we hear IS we are evil, we are causing unstability, etc. My wife's best friend's kids (2) are both on their 3rd tour of Iraq, one is a ranger one a marine. They volunteer to keep going back because of the good we're doing there. According to them, from their perspective, the good FAR outweighs the bad, and they are frustrated the media doesnt report it.

THere is soo much of that happening everyday and I hear about it from the family members and soldiers that go over there, but give us one bad incident and it the media, the left, and the ignornat use it to cancel out or cover up all the thousands of good incidents. Good news is never reported on. Just one negative out of a thousand positives.

By the way, it took over 100 views and one hour five minutes to get just one reply to a good news thread. But If I had posted bad news, this thread would have 10 pages filled of Bush slander in that same time period.

Probably...but what makes you think you're special? Bad news always "sells" better than good, no matter the context. It takes a special kind of arrogance to assume that it's all about you and your ideology. Bad news that the right can use to bash liberals spreads just as quickly, with just as much imbalance. Get over yourself.

Real soldiers making up stories and pass them off as actual events.

Possible, but with 100 views at least one person could say something. But they were probably out searching for the negative to begin with and are intentionally blinding themselves to the positive, so they could keep their biased points of view intact.

The post where you blamed the lack of coverage of good news, and the over-exposure of bad news, on (among other people) "the left", or when you assumed that posts about bad news would be followed by "Bush slander". In other words, that it's all about your conservative political views, instead of the bipartisan preference for bad news instead of good.
