man bump WCC and JJ, although his bikes are nice 🙂

i heard that hisshop was losing money, so he had to do monster garage full time.

and paulie does fab his own gas tank/fenders/handle bars when they are needed! (black widow, comanche, tool bike)

besides, JJ doesn't ahve ANY personality, unlike Sr. and paulie. even vinnie has more personality than JJ. but yea, they have all their cliche's ,

"To be honest with you..."
"And you know..."

He is from Phoenix, but I forgot his name.

The Phoenix builder is Paul Yaffe. The red bike you're thinking of may have been the bike built by Billy Lane of Florida though. At the following link, go to project bikes and then Discovery Channel bike. I think this is a second bike though. IIRC from the build-off against Indian Larry, that bike had a chain drive.

Didn't the seat on Billy Lanes Chopper catch fire?

The seat on Billy Lanes pant caught fire 😀. The exhaust was routed under the seat and he didn't have enough insulation under it. They fixed it during the run. IIRC, the bike he rode also had an open chain drive and by the time they reached their destination, it had taken off the inside of his pantleg about half way up to the knee.

Sounds more like a Trailer Bike than a functional and halfway comfortable ride.

I loved the bike that Indian Larry did for the build-off with Lane. The engine is a hybrid panhead/shovel design with one for each cylinder. I still prefer that old school look. The bike for that segment is called Wild Child. Check it at the link.
