American Chopper

man paulie is pretty lazy. last season, i thought they both had their weak points, but i see it now that paulie is just being very lazy ever since he got some punani 😛

lets hope paul don't have a heart attack

I love to watch the show purely for the entertainment value, but I think they both have some pretty scary personality traits.

Paul Sr. is a decidedly arrogant hot-head (sometimes seeming to border on being a socio-path) who derives pleasure from publicly humiliating anyone he can get pinned in a corner.

Paul Jr is an arrogant lazy fvck. While he may have fantastic design and fabrication skills, his organizational skills, and people skills are about in line with a 6 year old.

I have yet to form an opinion about Mikey, he seems like a simple minded fvck-up, but he may be the only sane one in the family.

The rest of the guys in the shop are probably the foundation of the operation, getting crap done while the family parades for the camera.

nah, you have to think that discovery channel probably prods them for ratings.

i don't think their personalities are "scary" though. i know people who are just like Sr. and i know people like paulie. mikey isjust a cynical lazy guy.

I liked the first season of American Chopper, but each week they are saying the same thing.

Paul Sr: "I'm going to put my big size 12 up your *** if you don't get this bike done."
Paul Jr: "You have no clue what I do around here."
Mike: "Don't mind me I'm just taking out the trash."
Vinne: "Turn the camera off so we can get some work done here."

The one shot they did of "American Hotrod" was the same lines just different people.

Cool bikes.

yea, but it's still good even when they repeat their lines 🙂

i love the way sr. looks at the coffee cups and starts bitching about it, hahaha

I cannot believe that you guys think that their behavior on the show is real, all their actions are scripted for TV.

I have been to their shop before they became nationally famous, they do not act like this in real life.

Probably right! I can tell, even with their arguing, that they seem to be a fairly close family eitherway and are just doing it for the cameras. Still it's quite funny 🙂

I've read where the Discovery Channel is going to have 6 episodes of Motorcycle Buld Offs this season. I hope Indian Larry of Gasoline Alley is in at least a couple of them

I think indian larry kicks ass, he represents the old, traditional styles and ways, and beats out all of his competitors who represent the new style and modern stuff.

+he does badass bike tricks.

I agree 100%, there is just something nice about the old style choppers that he builds which IMHO is nicer than the sculpted new styles so many focus on.....I also like the ones that OCC build but for different reasons

That show is exactly how my family works just without scripts and I am not lazy! It's nice being the family punching bag.

Yip, its old. Watching some middle aged fat biker dude scream and holler and hurle threats like candy in a parade, is not my form of entertainment

If it wasnt for Paul Sr. Little Pauly would be an unemployed fu*k-up.

If your into choppers, this is the real deal. The intro is loud so turn down the sound.
Good pics.....Text........🙂
Jesse James has challenged to Boys at OCC to a Bike Build off. He calls them Cake Decorators as they buy most of their parts where as JJ fabricates his. Jesse even offered to sell the Boys at OCC some of the tins he makes so they could use them on their bike!

The Discovery Channel build-offs have already been aired this season. Indian Larry was in at least 2 of them (Billy Lane and Paul Yaffe). Indian Larry won both and I think he won the overall competition.

Every time Paul Sr starts on a rant I just wanna stuff a donut in his mouth,he looks like a bulldog when he starts going off🙂

Until JJ builds his own motors, fsck him. Just because he rolls his own fenders and tank? I admit, that's not an easy thing to do. But calling other builders cake decorators is being a hypocrite. He doesn't design carbs, he doesn't build motors, he doesn't design transmissions. He takes an S&S or Revtech and does what? He decorates it. So he's using homemade icing while OCC uses it out of a tube, big deal. He's just as much a cake decorator as they are.

I think what they show on TV is real, I just don't think it happens as often as it looks. They said it themselves they fight, but not that often, but discovery channel only likes to show the fights, instead of the 95% of the time when they aren't. Every dad and son WILL argue if they work that close together, it's just natural.

I doubt the challange will be accepted. WCC is the real deal. Its not about TV, its about
a dedicated lifestyle, one that I don't embrace, only entertained by..........

🙂

He also fabricates his own frames, handle bars, swingarms (when he needs too) etc. I don't know of any Builder than fabricates their own engines, carbs and tranny's. Don't get me wrong, I like the work that OCC does. I also think this challenge was made just for the publicity as MG trails OCC for viewership on the Discovery Channel
