Watched it at home this weekend. What a friggin' great movie. Even with the Best Picture award and all the hoopla, I wasn't expecting much out of this movie, but damn it was good. And the ending, totally caught me off-guard.

Has Kevin Spacey ever been in a bad movie? That guy is one of the best actors out there.

yeah, i like it. i saw it for the first time a few weeks ago. the unopened DVD version has been sitting in my collection for 3 -4 years .. ahhahaha

very twisted movie.
 
I don't think Spacey has been in a sucky movie...but then again, I haven't seen all of them. Here's a link with all the movies he's been in, etc. Wasn't that blonde chick a hottie, whaddaya say?

Ditto, Spacey is a good actor. Talented. Riveting.
 
Yep, I was surprised at how good it was, what with it being an award-winner and all (no sarcasm, the big hullabaloo award-winners don't usually do much for me).

i love Kevin Spacey- I can easily say he is my favorite actor. Though, I heard K-PAX sucked. I didn't see it though.

same here, in fact, I was expecting a mushy chick flick, but it was far from it.

And you realize at the end, all the parties involved could be implicated in his murder with the exception of the guy who actually did it. The wife had motive and a gun, the daughter was videotaped discussing killing her dad, and the girl could have been looked at as the angry jilted lover. There's no apparent link to an outsider, however, to the guy who actually pulled the trigger. But to the viewer, there definitely is.

I dunno, I saw it and I don't think it sucked. I don't really remember it all that well because it wasn't amazing either. So I don't think Spacey's been in any movies that bombed...

The Life of David Gale was a horrible movie that was so poorly done, it actually makes the anti-death penalty folks look like idiots. (that was not the intention)

Outbreak is another total loser of a movie. They find a cure to a virus in a day??? It was as bad as The Core. And that's BAD.

There are more there, but these two were total stinkers.
 
K-Pax was pretty lame. What a pile of dung. The only blemish in an otherwise fantastic career though. I really enjoyed AB. I don't know what drove me to go see it at the theatre but I was mesmorized by the movie. Seeing Mena Suvari's tit's was an added bonus of course. There are still some things about the movie I don't fully understand, but what a great movie overall.
