That reminds me of the time I was watching one of those Fox "Caught on Tape" shows they used to air every night of the week. In this particular clip, a guy robs a convience store. He makes the guy get down and herds him to the back. He then ties a rope around the cash register which leads to his back bumper. Then, he runs and hops in the car and drives away. Only problem is that the register never moved. His entire back bumper was ripped off the car and was laying there. Bad part for him was that the lisence plate was attached to the bumper and also laying there.

There are some real dumb@sses that come up with some real dumb@ss plans when they get desperate.

I don't think stupidity is a trait singular to American bank robbers... I think it is a common attribute which is shared amongst most bank robbers.
