Not exactly. It was founded on greed, ask Sammy Adams.

Sounds about right.

Should it be land of the (what can we whine and pick out to criticise this year.)

It already is, and the lawyers are loving it.

(remember smoking,music,drugs,gangs,aids,prescription drugs,racism,etc...)

Yes, I remember them all. What was the point of this statement?

If gods eye is on the dollar get rid of it,god bless America-gone,God bless us everyone(no more tiny tim-lol)What's your view on this?

Tiny Tim was a character in a book that has nothing to do with the government.

Even as an Agnostic, I cannot ignore the Christian principles this country was founded upon. It's only natural that the two would be intertwined.

blah blah blah..I can't ..I just can't. This is why I stay in off topic, so I don't have to debate religion and politics.

Please leave.

This is flamebait, and is IMO unwelcome and uncalled for.

Oh, and- who were you before you were banned?

Religion has no place here anymore, it's too diverse, too big, and once again, too diverse of a country. Plus when used in the hands of the wrong people (current administration), religion is used as a weapon or a tool for their agenda. It especially has no place in public schools.

What does that have to do with anything?

Ummmmmm....sorry, but this country was founded on freedom OF religion. Not freedom AND religion.

I say that all those whining to bring religion into the schools- Let's do it! I think Buddhism would be good for all our kids to learn! Let's get religion into the school system ASAP!

1. Wrong forum.
2. Jefferson? Athiest. Adams, Deist, otherwise questionable. Same with Franklin.
3. God has nothing and everything to do with our problems. Humans are what need to change. If there is change to the better, I doubt God will care if it is in his name or not. After all, it's not like He hasn't had a few nasty things in his name before (Inquisition, Crusades, Holocaust...).
