does this mean april/may? thought it had gotten pushed back to behind BD

it sounds like it might be the answer to my lightweight/inexpensive mobile gaming needs

edit: isn't this an invite to a threesome ?

Why is Ryan gonna pay for the, uh, experiance?

(is that your way of saying you expect Bulldozer and Llano will steal sales from Intel?)

I think everyone wins here. Ryan gets a three sum, and Sandy is much happier living with her new-found love.

They sure are talking these chips up....

Bitter bastards can't keep their mouths shut while trying to convince people their stupid APU is anything but your typical technological advancement.

APU are a leap forwards in GPGPU computeing.

Processors ain't free. If he wants to take "the cousin" out for a spin then he's got to pay for it, upfront no less, just like the rest of us.

I just don't want the sloppy-seconds if Ryan happens to be an extreme overclocker like Aigo who Ron Jeremy's his chips on occasion.

You let a company convince you bypassing a self imposed bottleneck is a " leap forward "? It's the technological equivalent of tripping over a log and deciding to take a different path in the future.

And yet DB231, currently AMD are the only ones walking around that log instead of tripping over it. Intel will follow suit too, takeing back compute power from the GPUs and putting it back into the cpu/apu.

the only question is if the APUs ever become strong enough (due to lack of this bottleneck) to threaten the proffesional level GPUs for GPGPU tasks.

"Will" follow suite?

Someone send an AMD "My Sexy Valentine" card with pepper black chocolate to BD231, see his reaction.

That card belongs aflame in a brown paper bag on my doorstep delivered by the hands of a recently defected AMD employee who enjoys a good game of ding dong ditch.

AMD has had a multi-tasking advantage for quite some time now, still can't figure out why Intel has not addressed the issue.
