AMD's conesus platform.. Would you have performance, battery or mix??

So, the AMD's new platform is something else then what i had initially taught. But the fact of the matter is that Atom processers are quite under powered and to pair them up with GMA 500 totally kills game options and 3D as genral but great for movies....

AMD's thing may have a 2100 integrated which would not be quite bad at all... If you pair it up with a Athlon BE X2 at low Freq. they will go well together in most games if not all...!!!

But still a low lower Athlon can not beat a C2C under the hood of a say Sony TT and it is that 13incher that manages to weight less and perform great but at a cost!!!

THiNK AMD IS NOT GOING TO TAKE OUT A CHEAPO SMALL NETBOOK-ISH THING SEE:-

AMD's not into NETBOOKS huh????

Do really listen ppl!!!

Battery life, definitely. It's already a given that performance isn't a priority with a netbook. Less power consumption means you can get more battery life with cheaper batteries, so lower prices, too.

hm yeah.. i think i'd take the word of CEO Dirk Meyer over some random thing i find on youtube

lol, that cut in is from AMD"s analyst conference... and the video has been uploaded by me!!!
So i am quite sure this is what was said in AMD"s analyst conference 2008!!!

Also, i guess PC world is also telling a lie...:-

http://www.pcworld.com/busines..._the_netbook_fray.html

what point are you trying to make?
or do you just want to argue?

or are you saying that the ceo of amd is lying?

oh look!!! i can post more links supporting what i originally posted!!! (and with exclamation points just like you too!!!) http://news.cnet.com/8301-1392...news&tag=2547-1_3-0-20

and btw if you cared to read you would see this: "Just to set the record straight, here's what AMD Chief Executive Dirk Meyer said Thursday: "We're ignoring the Netbook phenomenon--just thinking about PC form factors above that form factor.""

Well this link just puts a knife in my theory's back...but you should see the podcast of the analyst conference and also watch out for this " (AMD uses the terms Netbook and mininotebook interchangeably.) taken from ur link"

Also i termed netbooks mostly with their price and weight....

So, if AMD is gonna release a mind you 13 inch MacBook Air type gizzmo that costs $600 or $700 that has a good processor and weights around 1.5Kg. Would you not go for that rather than a 12 inch Dell netbook or even a 1000H???

Oh and forgot " !!!!!!!! " 😀

Absolutely not. I love my EeePC 900 with it's 8.9" screen(and aprox $300 price tag). It's a fully functioning computer that really can't be made any smaller. I have a normal laptop, those are a dime a dozen. I like the very small size of the current netbooks.
