I would like to apologize sincerely for that message. I said it out of frustration from some of the replies I received on that thread. It does not reflect my intention nor thoughts in anyway whatsoever. Ultimately, it is my fault for saying that statement.

Please punish me the way you deemed best for such inappropriate behaviour on the board.

While I agree with what you have to say there, I don't believe that he should be allowed to post that kind of hate-ridden material on here. It doesn't set a good example at all for our younger members.

I agree that it's not desirable posting, but that's for the judgement of the other members. Mods handle broken rules, and I just don't see that he's broken any rules. Try to convey to him the fact that his behavior isn't acceptable.

And therein lies the difficult part of this whole business - I don't think he knows that his behaviour is unacceptable. Sure, he's posted an "apology", but I doubt the sincerity of it. Immediately running off to email the Mods suggests that he's trying damage limitation so he doesn't get banned.

I appreciate your efforts to subversively get me to cool my jets and normally I wouldn't go off the deep end like this, but when I see that someone has such reckless disregard for the sanctity of human life, it greatly irritates, and saddens me.

The difference between amdguy and a murderer/wife-beater is that amdguy hasn't actually harmed anyone yet. While that statement is likely to arouse a lot of tempers, I'm mindful of the fact that murderers and the other scum of our society start somewhere. What distinguishes them is their self-control.

In addition to the above, I'd like to point out to those who are aggressively defending amdguy that when a user posted the link to the cat being set on fire video, that most people were breaking out the flaming torches and pitchforks. However, when the same thing happens but with the object of violence being women in general, I am told to respect amdguy's opinion.
