I plan on spending less than $140 since I don't have a job cuz im only 15. I plan to OC 1.2GHz to 1.6GHz, i was considering the FIC AD11 or the EPoX 8K7A, but I heard FIC AD11 is very hard to go past 150FSB, and EPoX 8K7A gets hot easily, a lot hotter than usual mobos

Oh btw i hear to get 1.6GHz you need to get close to 2.00 Voltage, which the MOBO is incapable of, so any tutortorials on how to Flash bios to get extra high voltage settings?

The Asus A7M266 can do it, has a nice selection of FSB speeds, very stable. Pretty pricey mobo though, I doubt you'll find it for $140.00

No multiplier adjustment on the mobo BTW, but it doesnt sound like your concerned about that.

Two things.
Bevo: What the hell are you doing trying to sell information, come on man, that is really lame.

As for 0aStrOgUy00: I use an Epox 8K7A with 256MB of Corsaid PC2400 CAS2 RAM. I am running it right now at 166MHz FSB and CAS2. I have no special cooling on the motherboard. There are 2 BIOS' floating around for this board. One retail, the other one dated 5/21/01. It is a beta BIOS. If you use the beta, you get lower temps, more stability at a loss of performance. This board will let you increase the voltage to 2.17 volts on mine. I believe it is supposed to go to 2.25. Not sure though. Unless you have extrmeme cooling, that 1.2 won't reach 1.6 on any board. I have a 1.33 AXIA Y watercooled and I can only hit 1.55GHz on this board. You can get a lot of the memory, but it runs the CPU hotter than other boards, so you probably won't be able to overclock your CPU as high with it. Is it worth the tradeoff? Yes, I think it is. I have a sisoft memory bandwidth of 766/1017 MB/s. I just benched it about an hour ago. It is completely stable, and works great, after having resolved some unrelated issues with a GeForce2. It was not the motherboard I have found.

BTW, if you need more info feel free to PM me and I will tell you all I know, for FREE.

Just swapped out an MSI KT7 Pro 2A for my new Epox 8K7A and very impressed. My duron 800 that used to run at 9.5 x 105 on the 133 is now at 6.5 x 157 with the same Fop-32. I have the voltage at +.2(1.89v) and everything stable in the tests I've done.
I tried 160 but no boot. Still figuring out some tweaks. I want to try my old duron 600 that only did 6.5 x 107 before its sold to see what it can do.
There's a fair amount of info out now from users of the epox as well.
