i would like to know what is the real difference between the 8 different zalman's found here. Is one lighter or bigger than the others? Why the price change when they all look the same besides some are AlCu and the others are Cu. Which one is the best and why? Just because one cost more means its better but they look exactly the same...?

Thanks,
Ayman

7700 = 120 mm fan (Not Athlon XP compatible due to size/weight w/ fan mate 2 + comes with bracket for s775)
7000 = 92 mm fan (Not Athlon XP compatible w/ fan mate 1)
7000A = 92 mm fan (Athlon XP compatible w/ fan mate 1)
7000B = 92 mm fan (Slightly lighter/more effective w/ fan mate 2)

AlCu = Aluminum/Copper (Lighter)
Cu = Copper (Heavier)

Copper is said to be better although some instances show the Cu & AlCu versions performing on par to one another & the 7700 is the best due to the size unless using an Athlon XP. Lastly, longer cord with fan mate 2 than 1 AFAIK.

Of the two HS/F's you linked to, i would recomend the alcu one. Cools almost as good as the cu one, but it ways a lot less. That means there is less strain on the motherboard, which is good for the long run.
