sup guys at Computer Builders Warehouse they are running a special promotion on the 23rd you get an AMD64 3200+ OEM with a free MSI motherboard , we have cooler master heatsinks for those that start at 24.99$

so i thought that this was a pretty warm deal for most since you get a free board with it we have a limited supply of 10 boards and 10 cpus so hurry and get there

PS. i hope i dont get flammed for this , just trying to help those out who want to play with the new chip as soon as possible , peace out AT'ers

Oh crap forgot location hehe , 12303 Westheimer 77082, between Kirkwood and Dairy Ashford

updated we just got the ASUS Board in as well for $179 although it does not qualify for the free board offer for 499$

edit just found out that you can upgrade to the asus board for extra 90$

edit: i htink is availible for internet orders check

AMD64 3200+??? You talking Opterton here, right? If so, what's with the PR? Opterons are listed by actual speed or model #, not 3200+ PR fluff. You seem to be going out of your way not to let people know what wares you're hawking.

EDIT: My problem. It seems likey, is that this is the Athlon 64 CPU they're selling here. I see that's it's just being released. No one called me on using "opteron" again and again, so maybe no one else knew the difference either?
(Not didn't know the difference between Athlon 64 and Opteron, didn't know the difference between what was being sold and the Opteron.)

Just use the "edit" button on your first post. It makes it easier to read the information having it all at the very beginning.

Edit: nm, you obviously already know about editing. :) Just sounded like you didn't.

Ah. Also now understand my confusion earlier. Didn't know about 1-way, 2-way, 8-way differences in Opteron processors. Sorry. STILL can't find any other PR numbers for Opterons though. Normal way to identify them seems to be by model number (ie. model 146, opteron 2.0GHz 1-way).

Well, it might be listed somewhere else, if you could tell us where. There is only ONE listing under the correct category though. That's for $705 for the Opteron model 146. Of course with only the '3200' and "possibly" 2.0GHz to go by, there's no telling what's they're actually selling for $499.

EDIT. This is based on my thinking this is an Opteron they're selling, which nobody pointed out it wasn't. It seems that it's actually a Athlon 64 that's being sold, not the Opteron, as I first thought. hans007 corrected me saying it's an Athlon 64 (instead of AMD 64), but I didn't catch the distinction at first. :p

Shush! No, I'm sure the Dan that won last year would have understood you meant an Athlon 64 right off, instead of thinking Opteron. (Hmm, I wonder if they're doing that again this year... should be around December... )
