amd xp with kk266-r?

I was wondering how many people have been successful with this combination of processor and motherboard, and which speed xp's you are using? I'm thinking about upgrading and want to make sure the xp will work with my motherboard.

Yes it will work. I would recommend flashing to the latest bios.

i know the bios update is supposed to make it work but i just want some first hand reports about it working and with what speed xp's. thanks for your input.

I have the KK266+ and XP 1500+. XP was detected as regular athlon until I got the september 27 bios update and then recognized as an XP.

ive got a kk266-r and it works just fine with my xp chips.
makes a great combo w/166fsb.
