AMD XP 2500+

I just bought a AMD XP 2500+ CPU with a Abit KV7 Motherboard I OC it to 11X200 for the 3200+ with the stock HSF and my temps are about 52c at idle. I have not truned on any games or what not yet as I just want to know if that is ok for a temp.

For idle temps it's a little on the high side, but it should be ok. What are your load temps? You should be able to get away with the stock heatsink/fan with good thermal grease.

What he said. Besides Mobos are notorious liars. I would start to get a bit concerned at 70C and check things out just to be sure I did'nt put my HS on upside down or something.🙂
