AMD XP 2100+ Vs 2400+

😱 Depends a LOT on the core. Basicly:

'Polly' won't o/c much past XP2100+ and will run HOT. Pigs to unlock and since the speed won't get over XP2200+ there's no point anyway.
'TbredA' won't o/c much past XP2200+ but will run COOL. Easy to unlock but again not really worth it.
'TbredB' should o/c past XP2700+ and will run pretty cool even o/c'ed. Unlocked and will take benefits from 333FSB+.

😉 As for pure perf at 266FSB the XP2400+ isn't hugely faster (P4 2.0ghz vs P4 2.4ghz) but do bear in mind the XP2400+ runs a little faster than the rating says as this is the point at which the rating changed a little (unoff to account for 512k 533FSB P4's). If you have PC2700+, get the XP2400+ and have a good KT333 or else any KT400 or nForce2 you should easily hit 333FSB+ and that yields a nice perf boost!
