Are there any known issues with AMD's XP 1900 cpu running RedHat Linux 7.2?
I've checked their hardware list but it doesn't list it as compatible... lists nothing in fact...

Thanx

Nope. Ive got an older athlon and it works fine (not with linux, but close enough). Im thinking of getting one of those ECS boards with the Sis735 chipset. Check google's usenet cache for information about specific mobo's

Via chipsets == bad. I wish they'd just give up already. Newer kernels work around all the (known) bugs, just like the 4-in-1s in Windows, but it's stupid that you have to. Given the choice avoid Via chipsets.
