Hi, everyone this is my first post here. I just ordered this processor for $171.11 shipped pretty good deal I think.

1800 OEM

Anyone have bad luck with this company, The only bad thing I saw about them is people saying it takes 2 or 3 days to bill your card.

hmmm....not bad of a price for it....but I'd rather get it at Monarch....they provide oem cpus with 3 yr warranty (it blew me away the first time I saw it).

man....I hate being broke.

I would never buy from that company, based on the ResellerRatings.com. I would rather pay $30 more and actually RECEIVE the product, than have to call them 10 times a week and not be able to get in touch with anyone.

Scroll down on their Reseller Ratings page - someone from the company actually had the nerve to come out and openly insult the customers !!!

MoFoQ,

I'm sold on Monarch too. I didn't even realize they existed here in Atlanta. I met one of their guys at the XP event recently.
I went by their facility the other day and he gave me a discount! I was also shocked to see the 3 year oem warranty. You might find it a little cheaper but if you can reach a live salesman they will try to price match other online retailers.

EDIT: Yes, warranty by retailer not AMD

Not only that, but some of the positive comments (maybe all?) are obviously from company employees pretending to be customers. Anybody who orders from this place deserves what they get.

Simply looking on rr will inform anyone that these guys are out to screw people, period. It was an amusing read from top to bottom, as the comments were absolutly terrible. Including an employee personally attacking one of it's customers, then BLANTLY posting a series of untrue comments. Each one reads like it was written by the same person .... soooo funny. It is a wonder how people/companies like this stay in business .... :disgust:

Wow monarch has the same prices as NewEgg with the 3yr warrenty. Whats up with the 1600+ being less than the 1500+ though?

I'm debating what to get...Go for the 1600+ now or wait for the 1700+ to come down when the 2000+ releases...anyone know when?
