Hi im trying to overclock 1100T from 3.3 to 3.5 Ghz by increasing multiplier from 16.5? to 17.5
I first increased the clock to 3.4 ghz and ran prime95 for 8 hrs and everything stayed fine and stable
However when increased the clock to 3.5 ghz, prime 95 is throwing error at worker#5(core#5) after 30 mins to an hour
[Mar 12 15:34] FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 4, expected less than 0.4
[Mar 12 15:34] Hardware failure detected, consult stress.txt file.
[Mar 12 15:34] Torture Test completed 41 tests in 57 minutes - 1 errors, 0 warnings.
[Mar 12 15:34] Worker stopped.
I tried to run prime95 multiple times @ 3.5 ghz and both of time error came at core#5.
Does that mean my Computer is going to be unstable and throw BSOD during games? Is there anything i need to do make my cpu more stable? ( like OverClock HT or FSB or Voltage etc)
any help is appreciated.
and oh my motherboard is http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M4N82_Deluxe/
my CPU temperature never exceeded 60C
