AMD X399 SP3 / TR4 Chipset Designer

I know that the AMD AM4 Promontory A320 / B350 / X370 chipset was designed by ASMedia under license from AMD. This was continued with the A420 / B450 / X470 Zen+ motherboards. I have just read that AMD has decided to move X570 series motherboards to a new chipset designed in house by AMD to enable support for PCI-E 4.0. Apparently the upcoming A520 / B550 motherboards will still use ASMedia chipsets but not until next year from what I read when ASMedia has PCI-E 4.0.

Does anyone know who designed the Socket TR4 Chipset was it AMD or ASMedia? I havent been able to locate this information. I'm guessing its AMD borrowing from their EPYC server CPU line?
