AMD X2 Dual Core Drivers HotFixes Patches

GamingDaemon

Just got myself an AMD 939 X2 4200+. I instaleld all othe drivers and what not from my mobo, an ASUS A8N-SLI Premium.

Do I need to install any drivers from AMD? I have seen some references to those. I even tried one, but it said that I already had a driver installed (perhaps from my mobo utilities?).

So, what do I really need? Do I need to alter Windows XP to take advantage of the dual cores?

TIA!

Thanks!

I performed all of these steps in the post, though I still have one question. When I tried to install the ADM driver, it said I had one installed already. How can I tell if it is the latest version?
