the venice isnt an X2 it is just the 3800+ single core,

the manchester is the X2 3800+ which is a dual core cpu.

I've always wanted to know the differences between the Core names...

San Diego, Toledo, Manchester, Venice.. etc...

Do they really have meaning? I heard Venice is a great over-clocker... it's why I ask.

sorry, didn't mean to hi-jack the thread ;)

They have meaning insofar as they indicate real differences. The actual names are generally of no particular meaning or symbolism.

Try here.
