AMD X2 @ 2.856ghz

Is that dual prime95 stable? I hit 2.8 on my 4800+ but I just found out the second core fails at 2.8 when I run Prime95 on that core alone.

I can do 2.8 GHZ on my 4200. It is not prime stable, fails after 2 hours. Anyone can take a shot like that with just booting up windows. It needs to be prime stable in order for it to be a legit oc. I'm currently running on 2.57 because anything over 2.6 and my cpu temps go to 70 degrees. (Btw 80 degrees at 2.8 full load. I think I lost a few weeks off my x2 heh. I'm not sure if its correct temps since its speedfan reporting them)

ditto.next time when u claim take screen shot of ur cpuz w/ least 10hrs of prime run...

Not only is it prime stable, but its also game stable. Im going for 3.0 ghz soon. I do have phase change coming so it will get easier. As for temps, at 2.82 ghz I run at 44C load temps.

Yeah, I can't run my 4400+ above 2.6 ghz without getting errors in prime (though I will not raise my vcore above 1.5v.

Currently at 2.57ghz with 1.45v idle temps around 38c load (both cores at 100%) at around 55c

Wow...that's crazy. Nice and cool. Good luck...would be awesome to see it hit 3 ghz. DC @ 3 ghz would be ridiculous.

Could you post pictures of the 2.82GHz in a CPU analysis program like CPU Z? Sometimes there are rounding errors. I.E) When I used to have my old barton 2500+ oc'd to 3200+ speeds (200x11) it would sometimes say 2.18GHz or 2.19GHz, and some other times it would show up as 2.21GHz... Crazy rounding errors >.>
Maybe you're actually higher than 2.82GHz? =)

Voltage is 1.39 right now.
I will take a cpuz shot when I get home and post it.
Ive also got crystal mark scores to show and a 3dmark05 score at 2760mhz which was the last time I ran it. Two 7800GTX's in sli kick major butt.

That's pretty crazy..🙂 I'd be selling that chip for profit to some xtreme guys who play the furturemark olympics under triple cascades and get myself a 4200+ and be happy ~2600.
