I have to say, I side with Intel on this. AMD, you suck. Once again, lack of advertising.

Because I'm too busy anymore to stay in the hardware loop, can somebody explain to me WTF a processor has to do with wireless networking?

I don't care about wireless. It's just another stampede for the latest and greatest. CAT5 is cheap.

Sure, material wise it's cheap, but it's also a major PITA to run and add to areas where you don't have a drop ceiling.

Yeah, but people ridicule you if you install a Ethernet jack in your bathroom, whereas with wireless...

I'm not a home-improving type of guy who can put cat5e cables through walls, so wireless for me.
