AMD Vision Engine CC (Formerly CCC) - Disabling all Video 'Enhancements'?

On my old Media PC with an ATI 4350 I just installed the latest AMD drivers from the AMD/ATI site. (I am running Win7 and first had the Win7 drivers installed).

Now I have the CCC which they now call "AMD Vision Control Center" and there is all this crap in there for "enhancing" your video playback, all kinds of post processing effects which I DISABLED. (I do all this via my players, MPC-HC and don't want forced video processing!)

But "Dynamic Contrast" there is a checkmark and it's grayed-out, so I cannot disable this!

I want under no circumstances that a 3rd party app "enhances" my videos and for sure not with "dynamic contrast"...so can I disable those videos settings somehow?

If it's grayed out its most likely already disabled, that typically means its parent effect which it relies upon is disabled and is therefore as I said disabled by default.

Just FYI I found something googling.

There is a tool called "DXVAChecker" where you can disable all those things in case they are enabled:

"Unzip it, then run it as administrator.

Right click any of the values and click Video Acceleration Settings...

Set unwanted stuff to 0 and if you want to hide the item from the catalyst menu completely then set the _NA value for that item to 1

Make sure you click OK and then Close on the main page, or the settings won't stick.

You can also change these settings in regedit you prefer".

Those "Video Acceleration Settings" are when you click on on the small arrow symbol. Might be useful for the one or other.
