Q1 2006 quad opterons come out......As well as 3 Ghz single cores....X2 wont be @ 2.4 Ghz by then either....So dont bet on Intel just yet....

And besides this is all hype, seen no numbers or jack. PPL were saying two years agoi hat AMD couldnt get the K8 out the gate and that prescott was the final nail in the coffin after how the last northwoods creamed the late xp's..

Keep an open mind. And you all seem to assume that AMD will sit on it's arse and be creamed come Q1.

1. X2's will be higher then 2.4 Ghz (2.8+ by then)
2 Quad cores are due for this time
3. 3Ghz for single core opterons/64's by Q1
4. Taylor.

PPL go "Yonah has a crap memory controller etc" well thats tough. If a chip doesnt have a great FBS who's fault is that ? AMD's ?.

Why the false statement . clearly I stated that David won't build high end pc with Intel P4 p cores . Amd only . David preferrs Intel to Amd but he is a good business man . If you order top of the line $$$$$$$. AMD'S are the only thing he well sell . Please read more carefully.

The X2 thing y you making it out to be a big deal even if AMD is having problems they well iron them out . This whole deal is the same as the Rumers that ATI is having core problems . rumers and thats all nothing offical . But the name calling I thing I am beginning to see something very disturbing here .
